About Me.

 Hi, I’m Dr. Tammy Fleming, and I’m proud to introduce myself as a candidate for Sharon Hill Borough Council.

For more than 20 years, I’ve called Sharon Hill home. My husband, Felton White, and I have been married for 33 years and have raised our five wonderful children right here in this community. Sharon Hill isn’t just where we live—it’s where we’ve built our family, our memories, and our future.

Professionally, I bring over three decades of leadership experience, including 12 years at a national foundation focused on systems change and community impact. I also served at the federal level under the Biden-Harris Administration, helping to ensure equity in infrastructure investments. Today, I’m the proud founder and owner of Diamond Consultants, LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping people and organizations grow and thrive.

I currently serve as Treasurer of the Sharon Hill Democratic Committee and I am a lifelong Democrat committed to equity, service, and results that matter. I'm running for Borough Council to give back to the community that has given so much to me—and to bring fresh energy, transparency, and forward-thinking solutions to the table.

My key priorities include:

1.  Public Health & Safety

• Organize and promote community events such as walks, races, and fitness activities to encourage active lifestyles for all residents

• Advocate for clean, safe neighborhoods and access to health-focused resource

2.  Community Development

• Support local businesses, housing, and the expansion of green spaces

• Encourage thoughtful improvements that contribute to a thriving, welcoming borough

3.  Transparency & Accountability

• Ensure responsible budgeting and accessible, resident-friendly governance

• Foster strong communication and trust between the borough and its residents

4.  Youth & Senior Engagement

• Create and champion programs that support youth education, leadership, and growth

• Enhance services and resources that improve quality of life for our senior residents

 

When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me walking around the borough with my 3-year-old Shih Tzu, Duchess—my constant companion and the heart of our household. I believe in a future where Sharon Hill thrives for everyone, and I’m excited to bring my passion, experience, and deep roots in this community to serve you on Borough Council.
